The Galera Had Been Cancelled

Well following a number of restless nights thinking what we should do following the last 2 Buccaneer Galera's arriving in such poor order we have made the heart wrenching decision to cancel the order and we have collected our good old faithful Coachman Vision.. The whole family are so disappointed as we were all so excited about the Buccaneer!! we just can't justify spending so much money on something sold as being premium, top of the range, luxurious etc yet end up going through what we have gone trough!1 even if one arrivers in half decent condition we would still be worried what has, may and could happen to other parts we can't see. Yes i hear you say " thats like anything you buy" but lets all be honest, the cheaper something is generally the more chance you have of having one problem or another, built and quality reservations and life expectancy. For example a £300 laptop would generally need to be replaced or not work so well after say 5 years over a Apple laptop which was 3 times the price, properly still going strong and even worth something if you wanted to sell it!

On a positive note we have found another caravan which is " drum roll " a Elddis Magnum 866 by Pearman Briggs... yes i hear you saying " what they still bought an Elddis made van " yep just because we absolutely love and need this layout as its perfect for our needs right now, we will look at the 2018 vans later in the year but the thought of not having a caravan in 2017 out ways having and Elddis, and to be honest at £10K less than the Buccaneer Galera we won't be worrying so much about its longevity or little issues it may have... So we will keep you posted and trust us, we have fingers and toes crossed that this one arrives in good condition as it s not due until the end of next month and we should all ready be out !!!!!!
